The Chamaeleo Emissions Offset Fund enables firms to manage climate risk through investing in emissions offsets, carbon credits, and other sustainable energy futures.  The fund offers a scalable platform to purchase a customizable level of emissions offsets based on internal institutional requirements.  

 

While some firms cannot meet their carbon emission targets right away, they have the option to purchase carbon offsets.  Carbon offsets allow businesses to take near term action to meet carbon reduction goals, while they work to transition to more sustainable business practices. 

 

According to the UN, 120 countries, 23 regions, 454 cities, 1,397 businesses, 74 investors, and 569 universities across the globe have pledged to become carbon neutral by 2050.  As the world continues to reach carbon neutrality goals, Chamaeleo believes the pricing for carbon offsets and credits will move higher and appreciate in value.
